We had a great A+ swim meet at Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center last week Saturday. There were many fast swims and new personal best times. Thank you to all the parents that came to volunteer and cheer on your swimmers. These meets would not happen without you. Here's some highlights of the biggest improvements in each age group starting with our rising stars:

 

10 and Under

Ina Rutka dropped 5.82 seconds in the 50 breaststroke swimming a new personal best time of 47.29.

River Shin dropped 14.64 seconds in his 50 backstroke with a new personal best time of 48.22.

11-12

Porter ONeil dropped over a minute in his 400 freestyle going a new best time of 4:59.61.

Jeannie Wu lowered her previous time by 10.85 seconds in the 50 breaststroke with a new personal best time of 48.26.

13-14

Cheveyo Rodriquez dropped 15.78 seconds in his 100 backstroke with a new best time of 1:15.74.

Lily Motz went a 1:26.83 the 100 butterfly, dropping 7.75 seconds under her best time.

15 and over

Noah Britos dropped 13 seconds in his 200 Individual medley gaining a new personal best time of 2:44.26.

Caitlyn Moore dropped 2.65 seconds in her 200 freestyle with a new personal best time of 2:32.62.

 

Congrats to all the swimmers who competed last weekend! A big congratulations to swimmers who gained new States times. Kamehameha Swim Club will be participating at this weeks Distance and Senior meet, we wish them the best of luck.
