BC meet at Punahou

This past weekend we had a great BC swim meet at Punahou where many of our swimmers getting best times. Congratulations to all the swimmers that participated last weekend and thank you to all the parents for supporting your children in the sport of swimming. Here are some of the biggest improvements in each age group:

10 & Under Age-Group

Jack Youree improved his time by 11.49 seconds, finishing his 50 breaststroke with a time of 1:03.01. Clover Cole gained a best time in her 50 freestyle, dropping, 22.10 seconds to finish her race with a new best time of 46.38.

11-12 Age-Group

Jeannie Wu and Hugh Greenwell swam great last weekend. Jeannie dropped 12.30 seconds in her 50 backstroke with a time of 42.28. Hugh swam the 50 backstroke with a time of 41.01, dropping 5.09 seconds.

13-14 Age-Group

Emalia Tseu had a great 50 freestyle, cutting 4.30 seconds with a time of 30.76. Jinu Kim had a terrific race in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:11.78, dropping almost 16 seconds.

Congratulations to all the swimmers that swam this past weekend and all of our first-time swimmers. Many thanks to all the parents that came to volunteer and cheer on the future of Hawaiian swimming.
