Al Minn Invitational Results

Kamehameha Swim Club

The 51st Al Minn Invitational in Kailua was a great success with a lot of fast swims and great competitive spirit! Congratulations to our club for taking first place at this swim meet and thank you to all our parents who volunteered at the meet!!

Congratulations to all the high point earners: Jia Kim (10&Under Girls), Henry Green (10&Under Boys), and Journei Webster (Open Women). Keep up the great work!!!

KSC won this year’s 2024 Smoke on the Water relay and set a meet record. The relay consisted of Jia Kim, Henry GreenAlison CoxRyker PeralesMakoa CoxJournei WebsterDerek Hunsaker and Tai Misailidis.

10 and Under

Saela Flanagan lowered her 50 butterfly time by 4.15 seconds with a new best time of 35.59gaining a new state qualifying time. Evan Jun demolished his 100 free time by nearly 20 seconds with a time of 1:17.63. Great job Saela and Evan and keep up the great work.

 

11-12 Division

Elliott Mannis-Young lowered his 50 butterfly, dropping 8.3 seconds with a time of 34.19, gaining a new invitational qualifying time. Brianna Tongg swam her fastest 200 medley yet, dropping 18 seconds and gaining a new personal best time of time of 2:47.26. Great job Elliott and Brianna and keep up the great work.

 

13-14 Division

Kaya Pascual  crushed her  100 breast  time by  a little over  11  seconds  with a time of  1 : 23 .1 and  gaining a new invitational qualifying time Jinu Kim  improved in his 50 freestyle with a new best time  of  26.91  which is new state qualifying time . Great job Jinu and Kaya and keep up the great work.
 

Open Division

Noah Britos improved his 400 medley time by over 36 seconds, with a new best time 4:48.81Alyssa Tongg made flew to a best time in the 200 butterfly, dropping 16.50 seconds with a new personal best time of 2:44.92. . Great job Alyssa and Noah and keep up the great work.

Great Job KSC and we can’t wait for next year’s AL Minn Invitational.
