Senior and Distance Meet Results
Senior Meet
KSC competed in the Senior meet at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Center last week Sunday. We had great swims all around. Below are some top improvements in the men’s and women’s divisions:
Men’s Division
Ryker Perales dropped 21.02 seconds in his 200 butterfly, securing a new personal best time of 2:21.50.
Cheveyo Rodriquez gained a new personal best time in his 400 medley with a time of 4:41.34, dropping 12.29 seconds.
Luke Whitford gained a new personal best time in his 50 freestyle with a time of 29.00 seconds, dropping 1.98 seconds.
Women’s Division
Jolie Lum swam her best 50 freestyle this past weekend with a time of 27.03, dropping 1.46 seconds.
Corey Farah dropped 7.22 seconds in her 400 medley with a new personal best time of 4:53.41.
Athea Sjoblom gained a new personal best time in her 400 medley with a time of 4:49.57, dropping 9.45 seconds.
Kamehameha Swim Club also participated at the Distance meet at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Center last Sunday. Congratulations to Paulina Chavis and Bryce Burton for gaining their first Senior Sectional qualifying times in the mile. Go girls!! Here are just a few of the big swims we had last weekend:
Men’s Division
Derek Hunsaker dropped 39.94 seconds in his 1000 freestyle, securing a new personal best time of 10:06.82.
Lyon Maniaci gained a new personal best time in his 500 freestyle with a time of 5:44.29, dropping 35.02 seconds.
Kai Matsuoka gained a new personal best time in his 500 freestyle as well with a time of 6:11.34, dropping 54.75 seconds.
Women’s Division
Alison Cox swam her best 500 freestyle this past weekend with a time of 5:27.42, dropping 27.92 seconds.
Corey Farah gained a new personal best time in her 1650 freestyle with a time of 18:39.41, dropping 32.25 second.
Jolie Lum gained a new personal best time in her 1650 freestyle with a time of 21:04.60, dropping 26.01.
